Earlier today, the Litro Gas Company had announced that the prices of Litro LP gas cylinders will be increased with effect from midnight today (Dec. 05).

Speaking to media today (28), Litro Chairman Muditha Peiris said that from Dec. 01, more than 100,000 LP Gas Cylinders will be distributed for domestic and other essential services.

He said that 34,000 MT of LP Gas was ordered in December, and in the coming days vessel with shipments of 3,000 MT & 4,000 MT will reach Colombo.

Anyone facing a serious issue can call our hotline on 1311 and within 24 hours we will direct a cooking gas cylinder from the closest outlet, the Litro Chairman has said.

Accordingly, a 12.5 kg, a 5kg and 2.3kg cylinder has been increased by Rs. 80, Rs. 30 and Rs. 15 respectively.

Litro Gas Prices upped

The price of a 12.5 kg domestic cylinder of Litro LP gas is to be increased by an amount between Rs. 200 and Rs. 250 with effect from today (06).

The Litro Gas company said that the exact amount will be announced later.
